Welcome to The Lover’s Playbook—a simple outline of what you can expect when you book me as your celebrant. From our initial chat to the moment you say, “I do,” I’ll be by your side as your trusted guide/scriptwriter/tissue holder and ultimate wing-woman: taking care of everything from the legalities to the finer details and all the little touches in between.
Here’s how we’ll play:

We kick things off with a relaxed chat, either in person or virtually, where we explore your vision for the big day. We’ll talk about the vibe you’re dreaming of, the tone you want to set, and the logistics that make it all happen. This is your chance to see if we’re a perfect match, and I’ll share my experience to guide you along the way.

Once you’ve decided I’m the celebrant for you, we’ll secure your date with a deposit. I’ll share a couple of forms to be completed, and with those underway you can rest easy knowing I’m here to guide you through the entire journey, step by step, with zero stress.
03.
This is where the magic starts, when I really get to know you both—the quirks, the inside jokes, the foundation of who you are combined with all the things that make your relationship so special. Together we’ll complete a Script Building Guide and have many a deep & meaningful before I get to work writing your love story.

With all the bits and pieces you’ve shared with me I go into creative mode, crafting a ceremony that’s heartfelt, personalised, and uniquely you—peppered with humour, warmth, and personality. We’ll use a shared folder for planning, including vow writing tips, guidance on readings, rituals and music, and all the legal bits and pieces we need to take care of. We’ll have another catch-up about a month out to finalise the details and make sure everything’s good to go.

And now, we celebrate! On your wedding day you can relax and soak up every moment, knowing I’ve got everything under control. From the first words to the final ‘I do,’ your ceremony will flow seamlessly, with all the emotion, joy, and love you envisioned.
